Especially with the increasing privacy concerns for WhatsApp, Telegram became the second app that users chose. Telegram does not give out your phone number. Also, you can create great chat rooms, and temporary messaging is a positive quality. On the other hand, Telegram does not provide multiple send at once. Also, when you sign in to the application for the first time, it sends a notification to everybody in your contacts who has the application. It might be frustrating if you do not want people to know that information.
